In order to thoroughly prepare for the population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2021, a test event on the population census will be held in the Yashnabad district of the city of Tashkent.
In order to conduct preliminary testing of registration forms and instructions for filling them out on November 3-6 this year in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent city, it is planned to enumerate the population of citizens of the Donishmand mahalla.
On November 2, 2020, a practical training seminar was organized at the State Statistics Committee for the staff participating in this observation.
The seminar, organized under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Social Statistics M. Ziyadullaev, was attended by senior officials of the Committee and representatives of the Department of Statistics of the city of Tashkent.
The event was also attended by the representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Uzbekistan, Mr. Yu Yu, who presented his proposals and recommendations for filling out the questionnaires.
The event spoke about the relevance of the population census, the importance of the generated information in the development of socio-economic programs of the state.
During the training workshop, the observers were given detailed explanations on how to fill out the registration form.
