According to the National Statistics Committee, a total of 14,216 foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for educational purposes from January to August 2025.
This figure increased by 3,179 people or 28.8% compared to the same period last year.
The number of foreign citizens who arrived in Uzbekistan for study in the first 8 months of this year, by country, is as follows:
Turkmenistan - 4,603 people;
India - 3,477 people;
Tajikistan - 1,392 people;
China - 710 people;
Pakistan - 700 people;
South Korea - 553 people;
Kyrgyz Republic - 333 people;
USA - 319 people;
Philippines - 245 people;
Turkey - 233 people;
Afghanistan - 226 people;
Egypt - 203 people;
Russia - 121 people;
Great Britain - 110 people;
South Africa - 98 people;
Other countries - 893 people.
