In January - September 2020, 6667.1 thousand tons of grain crops were produced, which was 102.4% compared to the corresponding period of 2019. Of these, 6046.8 thousand tons of cereals are cereals, or 90.7% of the total volume of grain crops produced.
The largest volume of production of grain crops is 5143.0 thousand tons, or 85.1% of the total volume of cultivation is registered in farms.
The largest share in the total production of grain crops fell on the Kashkadarya region (12.9%). Along with this, Jizzakh (10.5%) and Ferghana (10.0%) regions also have high rates of grain production.
