According to a sample survey by the State Committee on Statistics, as of January - September 2020, 74.2 % of households with children under 16 years of age were registered.
Of these:
23.0 % have one child;
27.1 % have two children;
16.9 % have three children;
7.2 % have four children or more.
According to sample surveys, 25.8 % of households do not have children under the age of 16.
For reference: in 2000, 81.4 % of households had children under the age of 16 and 18.6 % of households did not have children under the age of 16.
