According to the National Statistics Committee, 381.7 thousand students were admitted to higher educational institutions in Uzbekistan in the 2024/2025 academic year.
This indicator increased by 2.2 times compared to the 2020/2021 academic year.
Of these, 196.7 thousand were girls, and 185 thousand were boys.

Republic of Karakalpakstan - 18.6 thousand;
Andijan region - 12.5 thousand;
Bukhara region - 31.5 thousand;
Jizzakh region - 6.3 thousand;
Kashkadarya region - 28.8 thousand;
Navoi region - 9.2 thousand;
Namangan region - 16.1 thousand;
Samarkand region - 21.2 thousand;
Surkhandarya region - 16.8 thousand;
Syrdarya region - 5.3 thousand;
Tashkent region - 22.7 thousand;
Fergana region - 20.7 thousand;
Khorezm region - 16.8 thousand;
Tashkent city - 155.2 thousand.
