In January-September 2020, farms of all categories produced 7 958.2 thousand tons of milk (2.9% more than in January-September 2019).
Among the economic categories, the largest volume of milk production was observed in dekhkan (personal subsidiary) farms - 7,537.6 thousand tons, or 94.7% of the total production.
Compared to 2019, for the specified period, there was an increase in farms by 16.4% and in dehkan (personal subsidiary) farms - by 2.3%.
The largest share in the total milk production fell on the Samarkand region (12.3%). The lowest share was observed in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (2.9%).
