According to the National Statistical Committee, in 2025 total in higher educational institutions of the republic for January-September 5,100 new student places have been commissioned.
The number of student places commissioned by region is as follows:
Republic of Karakalpakstan - 300
Andijan region - 1,800
Namangan region - 2,000
Samarkand region - 1,000
