According to sample household surveys of the National Statistics Committee for January-September 2025, 22.1% of households living in urban areas of Uzbekistan live in apartment buildings.
Their distribution by type of housing is as follows:
- separate house (private house) - 77.6 %;
- apartment buildings - 22.1 %;
- other types of housing - 0.3 %.
