According to the National Statistics Committee, as of December 1, 2025, 17,900 enterprises with foreign investment are operating in the republic.
Of these, 4,228 are joint ventures, and 13,762 are foreign enterprises.
They are distributed by type of economic activity as follows:
- in the field of trade - 6,403;
- in industry - 3,706;
- in the construction sector - 1,389;
- in the field of information and communications - 1,377;
- in the field of accommodation and food services - 737;
- in the field of transportation and storage - 586;
- in the field of agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 447;
- in the field of healthcare and social services - 209;
- in other areas - 3,046.
