According to the National Statistics Committee, in January 2026, Uzbekistan's retail trade turnover amounted to 32.7 trillion soums.
This indicator increased by 14.7 % compared to the corresponding period last year.
As of February 1, the number of commercial enterprises operating in the retail trade sector amounted to 87,070.
During this period, wholesale trade turnover amounted to 35.4 trillion soums, an increase of 15.6 % compared to the previous year.
As of February 1, 52,605 commercial enterprises operate in the wholesale trade sector in the republic.
