According to the National Statistics Committee, in February 2026, construction work worth 4 billion soums was carried out by the informal sector in Uzbekistan, which is 7.1 % more than in the same period in 2025.
The share of construction work performed by the informal sector in the total volume of construction work amounted to 30.9 %.
