According to the National Statistics Committee, in January 2026, in the distribution of construction work performed in Uzbekistan by type of economic activity, the largest share - 72.2% - fell on the construction of buildings and structures.
The volume of construction work by type of economic activity is as follows:
- construction of buildings and structures - 9.4 trillion soums.
- construction of civil facilities - 2.3 trillion soums;
- specialized construction work - 1.3 trillion soums;
