According to the National Statistics Committee, as of April 1, 2026, the permanent population of Uzbekistan was 38,382,685 people.
This figure increased by 1.8 % compared to the corresponding period in 2025.
Of which:
Number of women - 19.1 million people;
The number of men is 19.3 million people.
In urban areas - 19.6 million people;
In rural areas - 18.8 million people.
