On November 25-26 of this year, together with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government Leaders Program under the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, an online forum of women leaders was held.
This forum was attended by women holding leadership positions in various ministries and departments.
The event was opened by the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairperson of the Commission for Ensuring Gender Equality of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva. Also, the Minister of State Development and the Future of the UAE - Ohud Al-Rumi, Director General of the Press Service of the Dubai Government - N.E. Mona al Marri and other participants delivered speeches on gender equality and the role of women in government.
The head of the Personal Department of the State Committee on Statistics Zulkhumor Talipova also took part in this forum.
The purpose of the event is a comprehensive discussion of topical issues of ensuring gender equality in the world, increasing the activity of women in managing the state, society and business.
The participants of the forum spoke about ensuring gender equality, developing optimal solutions, increasing the activity of women in state, public and business management.
Also, the participants exchanged views on the development of leadership and leadership skills of women, ensuring gender equality of civil servants.
