According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-April 2026, Uzbekistan exported 846.7 thousand m2 of carpets worth 2.1 million US dollars to 8 foreign countries.
The volume of exports increased by 159.7 thousand m2 or 23.2% compared to the corresponding period last year.
Countries from which Uzbekistan supplied the most carpets during this period:
Azerbaijan - 388 thousand m2;
Kyrgyz Republic - 206.6 thousand m2;
Afghanistan - 183.4 thousand m2;
Russia - 24.5 thousand m2;
Other countries - 44.3 thousand m2.
