According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-April 2026, large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced basic pharmaceutical products and preparations worth approximately 1.9 trillion soums.

This figure increased by 30% compared to the same period last year.

The volume of production by region is as follows:

Tashkent city - 1.2 trillion soums;

Syrdarya region - 261.5 billion soums;

Tashkent region - 123.5 billion soums;

Namangan region - 106.2 billion soums;

Samarkand region - 78.4 billion soums;

Fergana region - 40.3 billion soums;

Andijan region - 39.9 billion soums;

Surkhandarya region - 30.3 billion soums;

Kashkadarya region - 7.8 billion soums;

Bukhara region - 4.7 billion soums;

Khorezm region - 3.7 billion soums;

Republic of Karakalpakstan - 1.9 billion soums.
