According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-May 2026, the largest share of construction work performed in Uzbekistan by type of economic activity was accounted for by the construction of buildings and structures - 70.4%.
The volume of construction work by type of economic activity is as follows:
- construction of buildings and structures - 73.9 trillion soums;
- construction of civil facilities - 21.1 trillion soums;
- specialized construction work - 10 trillion soums.
