According to the National Statistics Committee, as of July 1, 2026, there are 63,300 industrial enterprises operating in Uzbekistan.
They are distributed by main types of economic activity as follows:
production of food products - 12.7 thousand (20.1%);
production of other non-metallic mineral products - 8.9 thousand units (14%);
clothing production - 6.4 thousand (10.1%);
production of finished metal products - 5.2 thousand units (8.2%);
furniture production - 4.4 thousand units (6.9%);
production of textile products - 3.9 thousand (6.1%);
production of rubber and plastic products - 2.9 thousand (4.7%).
