According to the National Statistics Committee, individual residential buildings with a total area of 7.7 million square metres were commissioned in Uzbekistan in January–June 2026.

This figure increased by 7.2% compared with the corresponding period of 2025.

The total area of housing commissioned by region was as follows:

Republic of Karakalpakstan — 463.7 thousand square metres;

Andijan region — 373.8 thousand square metres;

Bukhara region — 978.5 thousand square metres;

Jizzakh region — 396.7 thousand square metres;

Kashkadarya region — 510.4 thousand square metres;

Navoi region — 353.7 thousand square metres;

Namangan region — 697.1 thousand square metres;

Samarkand region — 200.3 thousand square metres;

Surkhandarya region — 699.9 thousand square metres;

Syrdarya region — 63.2 thousand square metres;

Tashkent region — 984.1 thousand square metres;

Fergana region — 691.2 thousand square metres;

Khorezm region — 797.0 thousand square metres;

Tashkent city — 493.3 thousand square metres.
