According to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, nearly 5.9 million passengers were transported by rail in Uzbekistan in January–June 2026.
This was 0.6 million more than in the corresponding period of the previous year.
In addition, 56.3 million tonnes of freight were transported by rail during this period.
