According to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, nearly 13.6 thousand Uzbek citizens traveled to Georgia for tourism purposes in January–August 2026.
The distribution of Uzbek citizens who traveled to Georgia during the first eight months of the year by purpose of visit was as follows:
travel — 12,548 people;
visiting relatives — 831 people;
business-related travel — 134 people;
education — 9 people;
medical treatment — 94 people.
