According to the National Statistics Committee, as of October 1, 2026, there are 1,264,501 small business entities operating in Uzbekistan.
Their composition is as follows:
small enterprises and micro-firms (including farms and dekhkan farms) - 551,093;
individual entrepreneurs, dehkan farms, family entrepreneurs, artisans, and sellers of imported goods - 713,408.
In January–September 2026, 66.3 thousand new small enterprises and micro-firms (excluding farms and dekhkan farms) were created.
