Speakers highlighted the tasks outlined in the Address of the President of our country for the development of the social sphere and the introduction of market mechanisms in the economy in 2021, in particular, the development of preschool education, reforms to radically improve and improve the quality of school education, areas of activity to increase the coverage and quality of higher education. education.
It should be noted that, “In the International rating of open data, Uzbekistan came 44th, having moved up 125 positions. An important factor in this was the introduction of the practice of publishing indicators in 20 areas in the field of state and public administration. Another international recognition of our reforms is in the Index of Economic Freedom, where Uzbekistan has risen by 26 positions” - the President stressed in his Address. Issues in this direction were also analyzed separately at the meeting. Suggestions were made for further work to improve positions in international rankings.
At the same time, an exchange of views took place on the tasks that need to be performed to introduce an integrated approach and non-standard methods to reduce poverty, accelerate the transformation of state-owned companies in the implementation of structural transformations in the economy.
