On February 16-18 this year, Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics Begalov Bahodir Abdusalomovich and Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics Ziyayev Zohidjon Muratovich visited the Namangan region to study the activities of territorial statistical offices.
After reviewing the activities of the departments of the regional statistics department, appropriate instructions were given for the timely and high-quality implementation of the tasks defined by the decree of the head of state No. PP-4796 “On measures to further improve and develop the National System of Statistics of the Republic of Uzbekistan”. Moreover, relevant instructions were given to improve the efficiency of high-quality and timely reception of statistical reports “1-KB annual” - Report on the activities of microfirms and small enterprises for 2020, as well as “1-FX annual” - Report on the activities of farms for 2020.
The issue of forming statistical indicators of the socio-economic state of districts and cities of the Namangan region was discussed. The data prepared by the departments of statistics of the Chust, Turakurgan, Yangikurgan regions were considered. The chairman of the committee gave the employees specific proposals on the aspects that should be paid attention to in the process of forming and analyzing the socio-economic indicators of the territory. The need for timely updating of graphs reflecting the macroeconomic indicators of regions and cities was emphasized.
As provided by the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 19, 2017 No. 855 “On additional measures to improve the efficiency of the collegiums of state administration bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, according to the rating of the State Committee on Statistics at the end of 2020, the Namangan region took first place. Based on this, 15 active employees of the statistics department of the Namangan region, as well as regional and city departments of statistics were encouraged and awarded with gratitude and mementos for their great contribution to the development of the sphere, sparing no effort, knowledge and experience, initiative and selfless work in the Goskomstat system.
The head of the State Committee on Statistics got acquainted with the preparation process for the population census in 2023, for a broad explanation of the importance of this event to our compatriots and gave instructions on the effective organization of propaganda work.
During his visit to the Namangan region, the Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics inspected the central dekhkan market in Chust, Namangan, Chortok districts and the city of Namangan, in order to study prices for certain types of food, talked with sellers and entrepreneurs.
In turn, the Chairman of the Committee presented to the staff of the Price Statistics Department of the Namangan Regional Department of Statistics his proposals and recommendations on the use of tablets when generating data on the minimum and maximum prices for certain types of food products in the regional central dekhkan markets.
