According to the State Committee on Statistics, at the beginning of the 2020-2021 academic year, a total of 6 287.9 thousand students study at educational institutions of the Republic.
Of the total number of students, 3 235.0 thousand (51.4%) are boys and 3 052.9 thousand (48.6%) are girls.
