On May 21 of this year, a chess tournament was organized in the Greenpark recreation park of the Yangikhayat district of Tashkent, together with the State Committee on Statistics, the hokimiyat of the Yangikhayat district and the Sport Victoria chess school.
Such events are regularly organized, aimed at meaningful leisure of the population and increasing interest in sports.
In particular, amateur and professional chess players aged 7 to 70, living in the Yangikhayat region, took part in this tournament.
The leadership of the State Committee on Statistics, senior officials of the khokimiyat, representatives of the makhalla, and chess school coaches awarded the winners and prize-winners with memorable gifts and certificates of honor.
