On July 29 of this year, an expanded meeting of the Collegium of the State Committee on Statistics was held at the State Committee on Statistics following the results of the second quarter of 2022. It was attended by the leadership of the State Committee on Statistics, the leadership of the Institute for Advanced Training and Statistical Research, heads of sectoral and territorial Departments of Statistics, as well as employees of the territorial Departments of Statistics via remote video communication.
In January-June 2022, assimilated investments in fixed assets at the expense of the Republican budget amounted to 8.1 trillion. soum and, compared to the corresponding period of 2021, reached 130.4%.
According to the State Statistics Committee, at the beginning of the 2021/2022 academic year, the total number of higher education organizations in the republic was 154. In total, 808.4 thousand students study in these higher educational organizations.
