According to the results of January-March 2022, the sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries made a positive contribution to GDP growth - 0.3 p.p. (in January-March 2021 - 0.3 p.p., January-March 2020 - 0.4 p.p.), industry - 1.7 p.p. (in January-March 2021 - 1.6 p.p., January-March 2020 - 0.6 p.p.), construction - 0.4 p.p. (in January-March 2021 - 0.2 p.p., January-March 2020 - 0.3 p.p.) and services - 2.9 p.p. (in January-March 2021 - 0.4 p.p., January-March 2020 - 3.0 p.p.).

The average monthly nominal accrued salary in January - March 2022 in the republic amounted to 3 426.8 thousand soums (in January - March 2021, respectively, 2 876.4 thousand soums), the growth rate compared to the same period in 2021 amounted to 119.1%.

In January-March 2022, high growth in road transport services was achieved in Tashkent city (11.0%), Kashkadarya (10.8%), Navoi (10.6%), Namangan (9.5%) and Jizzakh ( 8.1%) areas.

According to sample surveys of households of the State Committee on Statistics, in January-December 2021, the number of TVs per 100 households in the Navoi region amounted to 161 units.

The highest growth rates of construction work performed by the informal sector in January-March 2022 were noted in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (131.9% compared to the corresponding period of 2021), Fergana region (127.9% compared to the same period last year) and Navoi region ( 127.3% compared to the corresponding period of 2021).

In January-March 2022, assimilated investments in fixed assets at the expense of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development amounted to 145.9 billion soums and, compared to the corresponding period of 2021, amounted to 25.1%.

In January - March 2022, assimilated investments in fixed assets at the expense of foreign loans guaranteed by the Republic of Uzbekistan were noted in the amount of 1.5 trillion. UZS and, compared to the corresponding period of 2021, amounted to 61.6%.

In January-March 2022, the city of Tashkent made the largest contribution to the formation of the republic's GDP with a share of 18.9%.

In January-March 2022, GDP per capita at current prices amounted to 4 604.6 thousand soums (or, in equivalent, 419.9 US dollars) and, compared to January-March 2021, increased by 3.7%

In January-March 2022, Uzbekistan imported 455 electric vehicles worth $13.5 million from 9 foreign countries.
