In January-June 2024, the largest contribution to the formation of the republic’s GDP was made by the Tashkent city with a share of 19.0 %. Tashkent and Navoi regions occupy the next places with indicators of 10.2 % and 8.5 %, respectively. The smallest shares in the formation of the republic's GDP are the Syrdarya (1.9 %), Jizzakh (2.8 %) regions and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (2.8 %).
In accordance with the preliminary assessment, in January-June 2024, the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan in current prices amounted to 567 364.3 billion soums and, compared to January-June 2023, increased in real terms by 6.4 %. The GDP deflator index, in relation to prices in January-June 2023, amounted to 112.5 %.
