In January-September 2021, the sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries made a positive contribution to GDP growth - 1.0 p.p. (in January-September 2020 - 0.7 p.p.), industry - 2.3 p.p. (in January-September 2020 - a negative contribution at the level of 0.5 p.p.), construction - 0.3 p.p. (in January-September 2020 - 0.5 p.p.) and the service sector - 2.8 p.p. (in January-September 2020 - 0.1 pp). Due to the growth of net taxes on products, GDP increased by 0.5 percentage points. (in January-September 2020 - 0.04 p.p.).

If we proceed from the analysis of the distribution of foreign citizens who entered the Republic of Uzbekistan in January-September 2021 by age, then their main contingent was made up of persons aged 31-55 years - 46.9%, 19-30 years old - 18.8%, 56 years and older - 17.4%, 0-18 years - 16.9%.

The number of trucks in international traffic amounted to 5832 units. Of these, leased - 2901 units.

In January - September 2021, 2.2 million tons of cement were imported from abroad to Uzbekistan in the amount of 105.2 million US dollars.

The first positions in terms of the volume of investments in fixed assets per capita in January - September 2021 are occupied by the City of Tashkent - 13,808.6 thousand soums (or, compared to the same period last year, 110.8%), then, respectively , there are Navoi - 11489.1 thousand soums (or 83.2%), Bukhara - 7051.9 thousand soums (or 123.5%), Jizzakh - 6351.6 thousand soums (or 96.1%), Syrdarya region - 6092.3 thousand sums (or 98.6%) and Tashkent region - 5910.8 thousand sums (or 119.9%).

According to the results of January-September 2021, the share of transportation and storage in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan was 5.4%.

Most of the construction work carried out relates to the construction of new buildings and structures. 65.7% of the total volume of construction work, or 2,653.4 billion soums, are aimed specifically at creating new production facilities, residential and other social facilities in the economy.
