In the total volume of market services provided in January-July 2021, the largest share falls on the city of Tashkent (36.6%). Relatively low indicators of the service sector were noted in the Syrdarya region (1.5%).

The largest flow of foreign citizens who arrived in Uzbekistan was noted from the following countries: Kyrgyzstan - 265.9 thousand people (38.4% of the total number of all arrivals), Kazakhstan - 221.6 thousand people (32.0%), Russia - 71.7 thousand people (10.4%), Tajikistan - 55.0 thousand people (8.0%), Belarus - 1.8 thousand people (0.3%), Azerbaijan and others.

In January-June 2021, the share of small businesses in the total passenger traffic was 94.9%. In the regional context, the largest share of small business in the total passenger turnover was in Surkhandarya - 98.6%, Samarkand - 98.3% and Jizzakh - 98.1% regions.
