According to the results of January-March 2024, in the structure of gross value added of trade, the largest share fell on retail trade (except for trade in motor vehicles) and reached 64.1 %.
In January-April 2024, the volume of financial services reached 39,888 billion soums, the share of these services in their total volume amounted to 23.1 %, which is the highest indicator compared to other types of services.
As of May 1, 2024, the number of operating enterprises in the trade sector amounted to 154,270 units.
