As a result of the measures implemented in the republic in recent years to stimulate exports, optimize imports and, in general, to ensure the balance of foreign trade, in January 2023, foreign trade turnover in the country amounted to 5.0 billion US dollars and increased by 1.5 billion US dollars, or 42.0%, compared to the same period last year.

As of February 1, 2023, the total number of enterprises and organizations operating in the country reached 572.0 thousand units.

As of January 1, 2023, the number of schools in the Bukhara region was 577.

According to preliminary data, in January 2023, enterprises of the republic produced industrial products worth 33.6 trillion soums, the index of physical volume of industrial production compared to the same period in 2022 amounted to 90.1%.
