In January-December 2022, in the structure of the total income of the population of the Tashkent region, a significant share is income from labor activity 73.7%, income from transfers 17.5%, as well as income from the production of services for own consumption and income from property 8.8 %.

On February 3 of this year, the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a meeting with the head of the Representative office of the United Nations Population Fund in the Republic of Uzbekistan to discuss further cooperation.

In 2022, Uzbekistan imported cars from 34 foreign countries.

At the end of 2022, the share of construction in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 6.7%.

In the Republic of Uzbekistan, in January-December 2022, large enterprises produced 657.6 thousand tons of sugar, while the growth rate compared to the corresponding period in 2021 amounted to 110.4%. Of these, 61.7 thousand tons of sugar were produced in December.

In 2022, the number of newly created enterprises and organizations in the field of accommodation and food services in our republic increased by 1.5 times compared to the corresponding period in 2018, their dynamics over the past five years is reflected in the following form:

At the beginning of the 2022/2023 academic year, the number of teachers (without deputies) in general educational institutions of our country amounted to 521.6 thousand people, an increase of 35.0 thousand people compared to the beginning of the 2019/2020 academic year.
