At the Termez Institute of Engineering and Technology, the Department of Statistics of the Surkhandarya region organized a seminar on preparations for the population census and the demographic state of the region.
The seminar was attended by the leadership of the Department of Statistics of the Surkhandarya region, teachers and students of the institute.
At the event, the Head of the Department for organizing and conducting census processes S. Ostanov provided detailed insights into the content of the concept of demography and labor statistics, the formation of statistical reporting, the population and its composition, the number of births, deaths, marriages and divorces, natural growth population.
Information was also provided on the main goals and objectives of the population census in our republic, on the preparatory processes carried out in this direction.
