On July 8, 2021, in the videoconference mode, the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the UNCTAD / WTO International Trade Center, organized an event within the framework of the Ready4Trade Central Asia project.

The “Ready4Trade Central Asia” project aims to develop intraregional and international trade in five Central Asian (CA) countries by increasing the transparency of cross-border requirements, eliminating regulatory and procedural barriers, strengthening the ability of businesses to comply with trade formalities and standards, and improving cross-border e-commerce.

At the event, welcoming speeches were made by Mr. Badriddin Abidov, Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ms. Charlotte Adrian, Ambassador, Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Uzbekistan and Mr. Ashish Shah, Director of Country Programs, International Trade center.unikichi3090721

In the program of the event, the project partners, international experts discussed the progress of “Ready4Trade Central Asia” implementation, the results achieved and planned activities in the context of trade and e-commerce facilitation.
