On August 5 of this year, a training seminar was held at the State Committee on Statistics with the participation of employees of price statistics departments of territorial departments and district statistics departments.
Within the framework of a new stage of the reforms being implemented in the country in recent years, systematic work has been carried out to develop the system of national statistics. In particular, as an important area of reforms, special attention is paid to ensuring transparency of statistics in Uzbekistan, as well as expanding cooperation with international organizations in the formation of statistics and data exchange.
In addition, Goskomstat is taking the necessary measures to ensure a worthy participation of our country in an important international statistical event - the UN International Comparison Program 2021 (ICP-2021).
Based on this, in order to further improve the level of knowledge of the staff, the training seminar provided detailed information on the concept, history, goals and work done to date within the framework of the International Comparison Program.
At the same time, the progress of the implementation of the Program of Statistical Works for 2021 was discussed, the necessary instructions were given to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of the tasks set in the State Program of Statistical Works, also to pay special attention to the quality of data on observations of the ICP 2021, as well as to further increase personal responsibility. in this direction.
At the end of the training seminar, the participants of the seminar exchanged views on the organizational issues of the activities of the Department for the Organization of Statistical Activities and Consolidated Information and Analytical Works, it was also noted that all the necessary measures for the timely and high-quality execution of the assigned tasks were ensured.
