According to the State Committee on Statistics, in January - June 2021, large enterprises produced 2,291.7 thousand tons of coal.
Compared to the corresponding period of last year, the volume of coal production increased by 782.1 thousand tons, or the growth rate was 151.8 percent.
Coal production in 2021:
- in January 287.7 thousand tons (an increase of 74.7 percent);
- in January-February 601.5 thousand tons (an increase of 86.3 percent);
- in January-March, 985.0 thousand tons (an increase of 93.7 percent);
- in January-April 1 444.5 thousand tons (an increase of 118.9 percent);
- in January-May - 1,854.0 thousand tons (an increase of 135.7 percent).
