In January - June 2021, enterprises for the production of wood and cork products (except for furniture), straw and wicker products in the republic produced products worth 828.0 billion soums. The volume index compared to January - June 2020 amounted to 107.4%.
In particular, by enterprises:
– services of subcontractors for the implementation of part (or individual operations) of the production process of sawing or cutting wood - increased by 1.7 times;
– production of doors and their platbands and thresholds from wood - increased 5.1 times;
– production of wood cable drums - increased by 1.2 times;
In addition, the largest share in the total volume of products manufactured by industrial enterprises for the production of wood and cork products (except for furniture), products from straw and materials for weaving falls on the city of Tashkent (42.0%), Fergana region (19.3 %), Tashkent region (10.9%) and Syrdarya region (9.9%).
