In pursuance of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 11, 2020 No. 710 “ On measures for the preparation and conduct of the population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023”, the Department of Statistics of the Surkhandarya region organized an event.
The event was attended by specialists from the Department of Statistics of the Surkhandarya region, the statistics department of the city of Termez, the city department of the mahalla and family support, the city cadastral agency, as well as the media.
Deputy head of the regional department of statistics Mansur Rakhmonov, head of the department for organizing and conducting census processes Sirozhiddin Astanov and head of the department of statistics of the city of Termez Yusuf Turdiev spoke at the event.
The main purpose of the event is to exchange views on the preparation process for the population census and the implementation of the tasks set. And also to give the representatives of the makhalla a broad idea of the population census being carried out in our country in 2023.
During the seminar, specialists gave comprehensive answers to questions of interest to the participants.
