As of July 1, 2021, in all categories of farms, the number of cows, compared to the corresponding period of 2020, increased by 85.0 thousand heads and their total number reached 4,595.8 thousand heads.
Dehkan (personal subsidiary) farms account for 93.3% of the total number of cows in the republic, for farms - 5.6%, for organizations carrying out agricultural activities - -1.1%.
In relation to the same period in 2020, growth was observed in farms by 11.4%, dehkan (personal subsidiary) farms - by 1.2% and organizations engaged in agricultural activities - by 18.8%.
A significant share of the total number of cows belongs to the Samarkand region (14.6%). Also, the largest share is noted in Kashkadarya (11.3%) region.
