In January-June 2021, the GRP in Surkhandarya region increased by 6.0% and amounted to 13 530.5 billion soums.
GRP growth factors were the growth rates in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 104.5% (share in the GRP structure - 47.5%), industry - 105.6% (6.3%), construction - 105.5% (8.6%) and the service sector - 108.0% (37.6%). GRP per capita amounted to 5,022.1 thousand soums and increased by 3.9%.
