On August 30 of this year, an online training seminar was held at the State Committee on Statistics to ensure the implementation of the resolution of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On approving the strategy for achieving gender equality in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030” and improving gender statistics.
The main goal of the event is to improve the qualifications of senior officials of the State Committee on Statistics, in particular, female personnel, as well as relevant employees of other ministries and departments on national indicators based on international indicators.
The event was attended by representatives of the Asian Development Bank, relevant departments of the State Committee on Statistics, territorial statistical offices, as well as employees of ministries and departments.
During the seminar, representatives of the Asian Development Bank shared international experience in stimulating national indicators and answered questions of interest to participants.
