In connection with the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the “Prospectus of the State Committee on Statistics” was published, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the activity of the State Committee on Statistics of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This journal examines in detail the work carried out in the field of statistics over the years of independence, and the priority directions of the development of the national statistical system at the new stage of reforms. In particular, information was provided on the introduction of advanced digital technologies into the activities of statistical bodies, the development and implementation of modern technologies that allow collecting data in the field of statistics in electronic form using a questionnaire placed on an electronic device (tablet) through a special CAPI program, and also the automated information system e-Stat 4.0.

Particular attention was paid to reforms to ensure openness and transparency of statistical information, sources of coverage of the committee's activities, issues of cooperation with the media.

The journal also presents the processes associated with the organization and conduct of census activities, first held in the period of independence, as well as such major events as the International Comparison Program (ICP), National Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Multi-Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS).

The “Prospectus of the State Committee on Statistics” also provides information on the committee's participation in international ratings, its results, issues of cooperation with international organizations and meetings with international experts, as well as foreign trips of the committee's leadership.

The magazine also provides information on the activities, tasks and achievements of the sectoral departments of the committee, as well as the activities of the Institute for Advanced Training and Statistical Research under the State Committee on Statistics.

It is noteworthy that in this “Prospectus of the State Committee on Statistics” users can not only read, but also view information about the committee's activities, as well as through QR codes presented in the magazine, visit thematic resources, sites and view them in video format. This, in turn, creates additional convenience for users.
