At the end of 2020, a total of 2,519.6 thousand tons of meat (in live weight) were produced in the republic, which is 3.1 times more than in 1991. In particular, during these periods, high growth rates were noted in the Jizzakh region (5.1 times), Bukhara region (4.5 times), Khorezm region (4.1 times), Kashkadarya region (3.5 times) and Andijan region (3.3 times).
