According to the State Committee on Statistics, in the republic in January - July 2021, large industrial enterprises produced 6,842.7 thousand tons of Portland cement. Compared to the corresponding period of last year, the growth rate was 119.1%.
Cement production in 2021 (by month):
- in January 559.3 thousand tons (an increase of 107.3%);
- in January-February 1 325.4 thousand tons (118.4%);
-in January-March 2,228.4 thousand tons (114.1%);
-in January-April 3 582.6 thousand tons (126.9%);
- in January-May 4,679.2 thousand tons (124.2%);
- in January-June - 5807.2 thousand tons (123.0%).
The largest share in the total volume of products produced by large enterprises for the production of cement in the republic fell on the Tashkent region - 42.6%, Navoi region - 32.2%, Jizzakh region - 13.2% and Fergana region - 8.3%.
