In total, in January - July 2021, 5,375 enterprises for the production of textile products in the republic produced goods worth 26.0 trillion soums. The index of the physical volume of the network in comparison with January-July 2020 amounted to 124.6%.
In particular, according to data from large enterprises:
- Yarn production - increased by 36.9%;
- Production of carpets and other textile floor coverings - increased by 54.3%;
- Production of sacks and packages - increased by 23.5%.
Also, the largest share in the total volume of products produced by textile enterprises in the republic fell on the Fergana region - 14.6% (824 operating textile enterprises), Tashkent region - 10.2% (450), Kashkadarya region - 9.2% ( 240) and Samarkand region - 9.1% (471).
