On September 14 this year, the Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States held an online meeting dedicated to the survey of prices for consumer goods and services for the purposes of the CIS ICP 2021.
This online meeting was attended by responsible specialists headed by the head of the price statistics department, Umarov Mukhtar Turaevich.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider additional issues and proposals on prices for consumer goods and services, based on the results of monitoring the I quarter.
The meeting was opened by AE Kosarev, Deputy Chairman of the CIS Statistical Committee, in which he outlined the progress of the International Comparison Program of the CIS ICP 2021, and also pointed out the relevance of the International Comparison Program for the development of statistics.
At the meeting, CIS Statistical Committee consultants provided to the discussion of the specifications of consumer goods-representatives for groups 01 "Food, drinks and tobacco", 08 “Other”, much attention in the consultants' reports was paid to the issues related to the prices for the 1st quarter of the specification for the ICP CIS 2021.
