On September 22, 2021, the Goskomstat hosted a webinar on improving the methodology of maintaining statistics of services based on international standards in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures for the accelerated development of the service sector" dated May 11, 2021 No.PP-5113
The webinar was attended by an expert of the International Monetary Fund Regional Center for Building Capacity for Real Sector Statistics in the Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia - Levan Gogoberishvili, Head of the Department of Macroeconomic Indicators and National Accounts - A. Mamirov, Head of the Department of Service Statistics - A. Mirzakhidov , as well as employees of the central office.
During the meeting, the employees of the Department studied the international experience of keeping records of service statistics on the example of Georgia.
During the event, appropriate recommendations were received to further improve the forms of statistical reporting in terms of the service sector.
