Under the chairmanship of the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics Ikramov Agzam Anvarjonovich, a videoconference meeting was held on the preparation for the pilot population census, organizational issues and the recruitment of census takers.
Remind that in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 710 dated November 11, 2020, from November 1 to November 25, 2021, a trial population census is planned to be conducted in the Khojaabad district of Andijan region, the Yukori Chirchik district of Tashkent region, the city of Khiva of Khorezm region and the Yashnabad district of Tashkent city.
At this meeting, reports were heard on the work carried out in the regions where a pilot census is planned.
Deputy Chairman A. Ikramov criticized the slowness of the preparatory work, gave appropriate instructions to the responsible persons for the high-quality and efficient organization of the pilot population census.
Also, appropriate recommendations and instructions were given on the provision of census and instructor areas with premises, the formation of lists of enumerators and other organizational issues.
